The Sound of Life Campaign has reached an important milestone. Congressman Joe Wilson has recognized the Campaign and made it part of the official Congressional Record.
At the heart of The Sound of Life Campaign is a single whistle — a stand-in for the voice of Ukraine’s children and a marker of their survival.
For Ukrainian children, this whistle is not symbolic alone. It represents the reality of children going to sleep under the threat of Russian missiles and drones, and the hope that rescuers will find them if their homes collapse. That symbol now holds a permanent place in the record of the United States Congress.
We are deeply grateful to Congressman Wilson for lending his voice to Ukraine’s children, and to his team for their support and engagement in helping bring the Campaign’s story forward. The Sound of Life Campaign will continue working to raise awareness of the reality Ukrainian children are forced to live through because of Russia’s aggression — and to advocate for greater protection of Ukraine’s skies.
